ACS Vostok One Group Espresso Machine
The ACS Vostok One Group Espresso Machine, lever-operated espresso machine built in Italy by ACS (Advanced Coffee Solutions). It pairs a manual brew lever with electronic pump control and two insulated AISI 316L boilers, and it can be ordered with optional automatic dosing, a patented safety lever, and custom wood and colour finishes.
It sits between a traditional manual machine and a fully automatic one. The lever starts pre-infusion, then the pump manages water flow through the rest of the shot, so you can dial in an extraction by time or by pressure without doing everything by hand. Warm-up takes about 12 minutes from cold, and the dual-boiler layout means you can pull espresso and steam milk at the same time.
Brewing control
The ACS Vostok Lower the lever to begin pre-infusion and the machine takes over water delivery from there. You can run it in time-based or pressure-based mode, which makes it straightforward to repeat a shot you like or test a different extraction profile. Pre-infusion pressure is adjustable from 1.5 to 5 bar.
Two LCD displays and a touchscreen show group temperature, steam-boiler temperature, pressure and brew time while you work, so each setting is based on an actual reading rather than feel.
Boilers and temperature stability
The Vostok uses two separate boilers in AISI 316L stainless steel: one for coffee (0.8 L) and one for steam (2.3 L), each with its own temperature control. Both are fully insulated, which helps hold a steady brew temperature between shots and cuts standby heat loss. AISI 316L is a corrosion-resistant grade of stainless steel, which matters for a part that holds hot water continuously.
Steam and milk
The ACS Vostok steam wand run off the dedicated steam boiler. ACS rates the machine at roughly 15 seconds to steam 200 ml of milk, quick enough to keep up with back-to-back milk drinks. Because steam and coffee sit on separate boilers, steaming does not pull temperature away from the brew side.
Energy use
An Eco-Mode lets you switch off a boiler you are not using. If you are only pulling espresso, or the machine is sitting idle, you can cut power to the unused boiler instead of keeping both hot.
Build, finish and customization
Side panels and handles can be specified in oak, walnut, olive or rosewood, and the body in a range of powder-coat colours, so two machines rarely look the same. A silent rotary pump keeps extraction quiet, and an LED-lit work surface throws light onto the cup so you can watch the pour and the crema form.
You can also choose whether to include the automatic dosing system and the patented SSL safety lever, and whether the portafilter handles are stainless steel or wood-finished.

How it brews
We've tested this ourselves. The 1.8 L insulated steam boiler produces thick, glossy microfoam in seconds — one of the fastest-steaming prosumer machines we've used. Heat-up takes around 10 minutes on EU power. The cool-touch steam wand and wooden paddle, make daily workflow feel natural, and the bottomless portafilter let you see your extraction.
Side panels remove without tools for cleaning. The gear pump runs quieter than a vibratory pump — your household will thank you.
